Barbara + Paul | A Dreamy Summer Engagement Session at Sharon Temple Museum
Located in the heart of East Gwillimbury, Sharon Temple isn’t just a beautiful setting with beautiful summer florals & history. As a GTA wedding photographer, I’m always drawn to locations that bring something deeper to a shoot. With its heritage buildings, wide open lawns, and wildflower-dotted gardens, the museum provided the perfect blend of story and scenery. I also love bringing my daughter here in the summers to run around & play.
The couple brought along their sweet dog—who, let’s be honest, stole the show more than once. We started in the late afternoon when the light was golden and soft. Surrounded by historic architecture and rows of blooming flowers, we wandered through the grounds and found the most incredible little nooks for photos: sun-dappled walkways, floralbushes, and wooden fences that seemed to whisper stories from the past.
What I loved most about this shoot wasn’t just the setting (though Sharon Temple is absolutely magical in summer), it was how comfortable and connected this couple was. They laughed easily, held hands like they’d done it forever, and even danced a little under the trees with their pup it brings out those candid moments that I love capturing as a GTA wedding photographer.
